CAROLYN MALONEY

Carolyn Maloney is a Reiki Master Teacher, Sensei, since 1995, practicing and teaching Reiki San Antonio Healing Arts Classes, in San Antonio Texas. The classes are a combination of Usui/Takata Traditional, Tibetan Reiki and Usui Ryoho Gakkai and Local cultural healing arts. I am the founder and CEO of Creative Minds Unlimited and REIKI SAN ANTONIO.( Business Registered with Tx state and Fed. beginning in 1996)

I am a board certified instructor (faculty/staff) for San Antonio College since Dec 1997 who teaches Reiki and Complementary/Alternative Medicine "CAM" to Nurses for the Continuing Education Credits required for nurses re-licensure in the state of Texas. These contact hours or (CE's or CNEs) are used by many different health care workers. You don't have to be a medical professional to take the classes, there are many people that take the classes to understand a different prospective to health and wholeness. Nursing Cont. Ed. Credits are 8.5 for each class listed.  10 CE's (Cont. Ed. Hours) equals 1.0 CEU (Cont. Ed. Units)

The classes include: Reiki Level I - Physical, Reiki Level II - Mental and Emotional plus long distance healing, Advanced Reiki/Reiki Master Practitioner and the fourth reiki class is, Reiki Master Teacher. I also teach Reflexology (Hand/Feet in one class), Acupressure for Face, Ears and Shoulders. My newest addition will be The healing art of Visualization and meditation.  Every year new classes are offered at SAC through CMU. We have a terrific Team/group including RN's, and Counselors. Carolyn has written and copyrighted four instructional books on Reiki that the student receives as part of their classroom tools. Carolyn  has had many articles and poetry published in varous magazines (Enjoy Whole Health, Indigo Sun, Express News), and has appeared on Great Day SA. Carolyn increased her cultural understanding of life by living in Fuchu, Japan near the capitol city of  Tokyo,  for two years 1968/1969 and in Honolulu, Hawaii for 12+ Years 1969/1981. Carolyn’s husband was raised in Honolulu adding to her knowledge of the Local Boy life style.

Carolyn was a Member Rep. and Event Host for Prodigy Classic from 1992 to 1997. Carolyn has been active on the internet since 1990. Her previous job was Systems Admin in the corporate world {a computer geek for 20 years in various Bank processing 1977 Bank of Hawaii to 1997 Bexar County National Bank in San Antonio}.

Not neglecting her other Bard talents, Carolyn writes Poetry and has had many of her poems published,. Summer of 1994, one of her poems "Where Reality Is" was picked up and read on UPI aka United Press International Radio.
