I am a Reiki Master Teacher, beginning in 1995, practicing and teaching Reiki San Antonio Classes, in San Antonio Texas. The classes are a combination of Usui/Takata Traditional, Tibetan Reiki and Usui Ryoho Gakkai integrating Local cultural healing arts. I am the founder and CEO of Creative Minds Unlimited and REIKI SAN ANTONIO. (Business Registered with Texas state and Fed. beginning in 1996) I have had many articles and poetry published in various magazines (Enjoy Whole Health, Indigo Sun, Express News), I also appeared on Kens-5 TV, Great day SA to explain and demonstrated Reiki, discussing what it was all about with Lu Parker in March of 2004.
I feel I have an increased cultural understanding of Reiki by living in Fuchu AFB, Japan near the capitol city of Tokyo, in 1968/1969. After two years, the AFB was closing and we were transferred to Honolulu, Hawaii. We remained there for 12+ Years. My husband was the child of a man who served in the Military and was stationed there during Pearl Harbor. His Father had to deal with the trauma (now called PTSD. The only way of managing his trauma, was to move his entire family to Hawaii in 1950. Kalani was considered a Local Haoli boy, and was raised in Honolulu adding to my cultural understanding and knowledge of the true life styles. Due to the problems in the economy, I convinced him that living in Texas would be much less expensive and we could send our kids to college. So we moved to Texas in 1981. Recently I had a Japanese Lady attend my classes that taught me some of a Japanese style she had learned (and gotten Permission) from Hiroshi Doi. There are no coincidences, Reiki energy is amazing. She informed me that much of the Western style reiki has been integrated into the old style.
I was a board certified instructor (faculty/staff) for San Antonio College from Dec 1998 through 2011. The classes include: Reiki Level I - Physical, Reiki Level II - Mental and Emotional plus long distance healing, Advanced Reiki/Reiki Master Practitioner and the fourth Reiki class is, Reiki Master Teacher. I also teach Reflexology (Hand/Feet in one class), Acupressure for Face, Ears and Shoulders. My newest addition will be the healing art of Visualization and meditation. I have written and copyrighted four instructional books on Reiki that the student receives as part of their classroom tools. EDUCATION IN HEALING ARTS

I loved one of my jobs as a Member Rep. and Event Host for Prodigy Classic from 1992 to 1997. I have been active on the internet since 1990. My previous job was Systems Admin in the corporate world. I (guess I'm a computer geek) worked for 20 years in various Bank processing . In 1977 to 1980 Bank of Hawaii , 1981 Bexar County National Bank and 1983 Business Service Ctr SA to 1997.
I have been published in several magazines, Websites, Books. I loved Writing articles for the Enjoy Whole Health magazine from 1996 to 2007 regarding Reiki.
Not neglecting my other Bard talents, I've written Poetry and have had many of my poems published in several books. In the Summer of 1994, I got a strange email from a publisher and gave permission for one of my favorite poems "Where Reality Is" for them to pick up off my website and read on UPI aka United Press International Radio.
